Hot Lunch

We offer (for a fee) monthly hot lunches from Nanaimo area restaurants. If you want to help sort lunches, simply show up at the music room at 11:15 on hot lunch day. Volunteers always appreciated
Movie Nights
​
Hollywood magic comes to McGirr gym! All families are invited to attend our school screening of popular shows. Watch your email and our Facebook group for upcoming dates.
Pizza Day
​
We coordinate a school-wide pizza for all students. No need to order, this lunch is provided to all students for free.
Monster Mash
​
Our annual Halloween costume bash is a graveyard smash! Get ready to don your costumes and have a family friendly boogie in the gym.
Fun Fair
​
The highlight (and biggest fundraiser) of our social calendar! Once a year, McGirr transforms into a wonderland of bouncy obstacle courses, carnival games, and food trucks. Support the school and have a fabulous night! We always need an army of volunteers for this one....so watch out for the signup.com link!
